Urgent call for works for string orchestra with/without soloists 09-Jan-2012

FONDAZIONE  ADKINS  CHITI:  DONNE  IN  MUSICA

One of Italy’s leading chamber orchestras (international activity plus hundreds of CD recordings) has again asked us to short list works – of all kinds -  for string orchestra with/without solists – maximum length 11 minutes. Scores should be sent to us on PDF files - controcanto@donneinmusica.org  by the 20th January.

Together with the work please send a 10 line bio in English + information about availability of instrumental parts. Works chosen will be performed in March this year. Proposals that arrive after the 20th January will not be taken into consideration.
